The integral DVD/Blu-ray player features 1080p up-scaling that can boost the picture quality of a regular DVD up to a 1080p picture by using the HDMI connection and filling in the missing details. For the ultimate picture, a Blu-ray disc will provide all the detailed picture quality without the need for picture to be up scaled. NetCast™ Entertainment Access brings the best of the internet directly to the HB965TZ, without the need for a computer. You can enjoy YouTube, weather forecasts as well as online photo sharing from the comfort of your living room sofa.
You can access this service by connecting the LG HB965TZ’s main unit to your home network either via the built-in Ethernet port or built-in WiFi and your wireless broadband router.
Or why not dock your iPod or iPhone and playback the music and videos to your TV? Control your iPod with the LG remote control and an easy-to-use on screen display - and as the content is being played back, the iPod or iPhone is being recharged.
The nifty Sound Gallery feature provides 7 sound options to maximise the audio experience:
